BIO
Bri Horne (she/her) is an intuition and purpose-lead emerging photographic artist and poet based on Bunurong and Boonwurrung Country on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. Grounded in the embodiment of deep sensitivity and empathy, Bri explores the connection between self, the natural world and spirituality — guided by the knowing that as humans, we are not separate from nature, we are nature. With a background in theatre and performance, the role of presence and embodiment are seeped in the art Bri practices and creates. Sitting in the everpresent context of the climate crisis and mental health epidemic, Bri is interested in creating live and immersive experiences within the community, to inspire deepened connection with self, nature, and spirituality: as seen in her solo shows ‘Being With What Is’ (2024), ‘How Water Weaves’ (2023), and ‘Coming Home’ (2022).
